Aims & Scope
JED welcomes both theoretical and empirical papers from economists, scholars and researchers from all over the world to publish problem-oriented and high-quality manuscripts. JED publishes only original papers from a wide variety of economic perspectives that address current and relevant issues related to economics and development. Topics of specific interest to JED include economic development, finance, international trade and regional integration, business and management, social issues and political economics. JED also invites the economic analysis on the experiences of economic development in Vietnam and other countries as well.
JED operates a double-blind peer-review model. All manuscripts undergo an initial assessment by the journal editor. If they are considered suitable for peer review, manuscripts will then be reviewed by a minimum of two external reviewers to assess its suitability for publication. Final responsibility for editorial decisions rests with the journal editor.
All articles published in JED are published Open Access under a CC BY 4.0 licence. For further information on licencing, please see the author guidelines.
Publishing Services Partnership
From 2019, all English issues of the JED are published by Emerald Publishing on behalf of the National Economics University, Vietnam. JED is owned by the National Economics University, Vietnam. JED is published under a platinum OA arrangement, in which all charges for publishing an OA article in JED are to be covered by the National Economics University, Vietnam. There is no charge to the author.
