AIMS AND SCOPE
Journal of Economics and Development (JED) welcomes both theoretical and empirical papers from economists, scholars and researchers from all over the world to publish problem-oriented and high-quality articles. JED publish peer reviewed, original research articles addressing the issues of economics, business and management at the global, national, regional or local levels that are of wider significance to sustainable policy.
Topics of specific interest to the JED include economic development, finance, international trade and regional integration, business and management, social issues and political economics. JED also also welcome economic analysis on the experiences of economic development in transition countries. All policy prescriptions should be supported by rigorous analysis and appraisal.
Journal of Economics and Development is published by Emerald Publishing on behalf of National Economics University, who owns the title. The journal is published under a Platinum OA arrangement, in that all charges for publishing an OA article in the journal are funded by National Economics University. Therefore, there is no charge to the author.
